Investigations are continuing into the murder of former policeman, Sayed Mohammed. The ex-cop was shot dead at Katwaroo Trace, Penal earlier this morning December 12.

According to reports, the 46-year-old who owned a clothing store was shot dead near to his home around 9.15 a.m. Apparently, he was leaving to go to his business place when his wife heard two loud sounds.

When she investigated the sounds she found her husband lying on the roadway in front of the garage with several gunshot wounds on his body.

Southern Division officers intercepted the vehicle at Debe Trace, Penal and arrested two men and recovered firearms.
