Forty-three-year Kirk Fields has been charged with the murder of preschool principal Jezelle Philip. She was stabbed to death while on the job at Baby’s Preschool, at the corner of George Street and Independence Square.

He was charged following instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions. Fields who is from East Dry River, Port of Spain is expected to appear before a Port of Spain magistrate tomorrow.
