Two men were arrested after cops found one kilogram of marijuana in a vehicle in which they were travelling in the Penal district on Sunday.

The arresting officers were working on a  tip-off that the men were transporting narcotics when the vehicle was intercepted along Ramjohn Trace, Penal, and the cops found the ganja (in photo) hidden in the engine compartment of the car.

The marijuana has a total weight of one kilogramme with an estimated street value $10,000. The suspects were arrested for the offence of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
