Maria Simon, of Houssa Trace in Gasparillo, is due to appear before a San-Fernando Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with the murder of her neighbor.

Randy Joseph was sitting in his veranda on October 15th when it is alleged he was approached by Simon who began throwing stones at him before fatally stabbing him.  

Last Wednesday, Simon, accompanied by her attorney, surrendered to the HBI Three Office and  was later interviewed in relation to the Joseph’s death.

She was then charged with the offence following the investigation which was spearheaded by Superintendent (Ag.) Sean Dhillpaul.
