The Hazardous Seas Alert, Yellow Level,  for all of Tobago has been extended. Trinidad’s North and East Coast will also be dangerous in the coming days.

The Alert, Yellow Level #2, was issued by the Met Office on Friday morning.

“Strong low-level winds are agitating sea conditions with waves reaching up to 3.5 metres in open waters (based on official reports).  “Rough sea conditions are expected to continue until Wednesday 15th January 2020,” the Met Office said.

“Citizens have been advised to “monitor sea conditions, exercise caution in coastal and offshore waters and avoid entering the sea if unnecessary.

  “Be alert for large waves and dangerous currents” the Met Office warned.
