Inter-Island Travel Cost To Increase On Air And Seabridge

Folks will pay more to travel between Trinidad and Tobago from January 1st, 2023. 

Finance Minister Colm Imbert announced the reduction in fuel subsidy for both domestic air and sea travel, leading to higher prices at an individual level. 

Inter-island air travel will increase by $50 t0 $200.

“With this increased price, we’ll still require subsidy of over $50 million a year.”

Meanwhile, ferry prices for a one-way trip will increase from $50 to $75.

People over 60, who currently travel for free on the sea bridge,  will  pay $25 one way from January 1st.

“The estimated increase in annual revenue for the sea bridge will be $30million.”
