International Airlines Permitted To Fly Once Borders Reopen

By Newsroom

Once borders reopen on July 17th, international Airlines will be permitted to fly to Trinidad and Tobago.

This was confirmed by Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan, who addressed the concern during Monday’s sitting of the House of Representatives.

He was responding to a question from Point-a-Pierre MP David Lee.

“The answer is yes. However, the details will be worked out between the relevant authorities in the coming days,” Minister Sinanan.

Since T&T closed its borders in March of 2020, State-owned Caribbean Airlines has been the only Airline permitted to conduct flights in and out of Trinidad and Tobago.
