Jamaica Records Fifth Monkeypox Case

A Kingston man is Jamaica’s fifth confirmed case of the monkeypox virus detected in Jamaica. 

Three of the island’s cases are in home quarantine, while two positive patients have already recovered from the virus.

The confirmed cases are all men between ages 25 to 52 years.

Two of the confirmed cases of monkeypox were imported, while three were locally transmitted.
