A coordinated and intelligence-guided police exercise has led to the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle and the arrest of a juvenile suspect, following a robbery reported on Wednesday 7 January 2026.
The vehicle, a white Nissan B15 (B-series sedan), was reported stolen during a robbery incident earlier this week. Acting swiftly on operational intelligence, officers attached to the Central Division Task Force (Area South) successfully recovered the vehicle at Lisas Boulevard, Couva, Couva-Tabaquite-Talparo region.
During the exercise, one suspect was apprehended. He has been identified as a 17-year-old male of Enterprise Street, Chaguanas, and is currently assisting investigators with ongoing enquiries. The operation forms part of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s sustained efforts to disrupt violent crime, interdict stolen-vehicle networks, and dismantle criminal activity across the Central Division and surrounding communities.
Investigations remain active, as officers continue to pursue additional suspects believed to be involved in the incident.
