Keeping Tradition: Barack Obama Names His Favorite Books Of 2020

By Newsroom

Former US President Barack Obama has released his highly anticipated annual list of favorite books, pointing out that he chose to deliberately omit his own 2020 memoir ‘A Promised Land’, from the list.

The list of 17 books includes Phil Kay’s ‘Missionaries’ and ‘The Undocumented Americans’ written by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio.

“As 2020 comes to a close, I wanted to share my annual lists of favorites. I’ll start by sharing my favorite books this year, deliberately omitting what I think is a pretty good book – A Promised Land – by a certain 44th president. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did,” Obama wrote in a tweet.

Obama’s memoir, which was published on November 17th, has already topped 3 million in sales.
