A tragic end as the body of two year old Kymani Francis was found in the Guapo River this morning, roughly 24 hours after the toddler wandered away from his home at Techier Village, Point Fortin on Monday.

The discovery was made at around 10:40a.m.

The child was spotted by a neighbour on Monday,  walking on the street outside his home, at Tenth Street Extension in Techier Village. The woman reportedly contacted police, triggering a search which covered both land and rivers.

Investigations are continuing.
