Someone created a  Facebook Messenger Account entitled “Hon Jennifer Baptiste Primus”  and has been using it to engage with persons by asking them about their families, etc.

The Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development issued a statement saying that it did not originate with the Minister.

“Members of the public are hereby notified to desist from interacting with this Facebook Messenger Account or interacting with the persona behind the page.

“The Ministry reiterates the advice that the public should be vigilant when using these online applications, especially when conversing with persons purporting to be Government Officials,”  according to the Statement from the Ministry which was issued on Monday morning.

Last December the Ministry was forced to issue a statement about an Instagram Page that was set up in Mrs Baptiste-Primus’ name which was offering government grants to individuals via private messages.
