Machel Montano is on a mission to bring home not just a Road March title in 2025, but to successfully defend his first-ever Calypso Monarch title (2024). However, chances are he could reign as the overall King of Carnival, now that the Joint Panorama Champions, Bp Renegades and Massy All Stars will both be performing his song ‘Bet Meh,” in the large band category in the National Panorama competition.

The track, he admitted, is the song which he has chosen to perform on the big stage, on Dimanche Gras night, when he defends his title (see Video).

The traditional musical rivalry between the Renegades and All-Stars will be renewed with each band – located a stone’s throw away from each either- playing different arrangements of the song. Leon Smooth Edwards will arrange for All Stars, while Duvone Stewart will also arrange Bet Meh for the Renegades.
Both bands have already started laying down music.
