Maintenance works will be conducted on the underground sewerage pipeline between Beetham Gardens and the HDC Development at St. Joseph’s Old Road.

The Water and Sewerage Authority advised that the work began yesterday December 12 and will end on Friday, December 16.

According to WASA:

“Monitoring of the system revealed overflows and the system was immediately pumped and the area sanitized. Ongoing maintenance works will serve to reduce flows to an acceptable operating level, after which, detailed sanitization of the HDC building and the Eastern Main Road will be executed.”

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching the job site and to obey the instructions of Traffic Control Officers on duty.
