Police officers made a sizable dent in the illegal drug trade on Friday evening, seizing $867,945 worth of cocaine during an exercise in Tunapuna.
Officers of the Northern Division Task Force in the proceeded to a business place located in the Tunapuna district, where they found inside of a box prepared for shipping, two packets affixed and conceal in the lining.
The packages were seized and a field narcotic test confirmed it to be cocaine.
They were weighted and amounted to 328.92 grams with a street value of $867,945.
