Dwayne Joseph, age 35, will appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate this morning, charged with stealing 10 cases of White Oak, valued at $8,100.

Johnson was arrested after a delivery driver reported to police that the cases were taken from his truck.

According to police reports, at 11.40 am on Wednesday, officers attached to the Port-of-Spain City Police Task Force were on mobile patrol when they responded to a distress call in which a man reported that a quantity of White Oak cases were missing from his delivery van.

Upon arrival at the scene along Charlotte Street, Port-of-Spain, police approached a man who provided certain information about the incident.

The task force officers conducted further enquiries which led them to an empty lot in San Juan where they allegedly found a quantity of alcohol valued at approximately $8,100 under a plastic tarpaulin.
