A man identified as Akim McDonald was shot and killed earlier today on the Southern Main road in Claxton Bay. Police said no one saw what transpired in the busy area and no suspects have been held. They were alerted by an anonymous caller who said that there was a body on the roadway. The body was found near the St Margaret’s police station. He was shot in the head.
