The man who claimed that he was physically assaulted by Police Commissioner Gary Grifith during an interrogation has been shot dead.

Cecil Skeete previously claimed that he was choked and punched him during an interrogation. The 50-year-old was shot dead in the Cocorite area last night. He is believed to have been a high ranking gang member and was out on bail for the possession of arms and ammunitions.

Skeete retracted his claims of assault by the Commissioner after his claim was made public through the media.
