Management Of Passage To Asia Distances Itself From Massive Covid Breach At Birthday Party

The management of the Passage to Asia restaurant has essentially washed its hands of any blame after 71 persons were ticketed at the establishment on Saturday night for breaching the Covid-19 Public Health Regulations.

A statement from the TTPS issued on Sunday morning stated that: “The owner of the establishment may also face a third charge for allowing the event to take place on his premises.”

The 71 fixed penalty notices  issued by police were for failure to wear a mask in a public space.

They also face charges for breaching the Covid regulation which states that gathering in public spaces are limited to groups of a maximum 10 persons.
