Melé Cruise Postponed Until 2022, Machel Montano Announces

By Newsroom

Machel Montano has announced that his Melé soca cruise will be postponed until 2022.

Montano made the revelation via  a video message to supporters posted on Tuesday.

“We have all been through a lot facing this global pandemic and being affected by it in many different ways,” he said, adding that  he is hopeful that “better days are near and when it comes we would be ready to Melé.”

With the COVID-19 pandemic putting the world at a halt, Montano explained that he and his team were looking at May 2020, however conversations with the cruise line confirmed that 2022 was a more appropriate option.

“It is taking us some time but we are working with the cruise line to get he details right, the exact ship, destination and everything that will make this new sail date an incredible experience while making everyone’s health a top priority,” he said.

And for those who will, for whatever reason, be unavailable to attend on the new date, Montano assured that a full refund of their tickets will be issued.
