Met Office Monitoring Two Tropical Waves
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service is monitoring two tropical waves traversing the Atlantic currently.
In an update on Saturday afternoon, it said the first one is analyzed near 51W and the second is along 30W.
“Important to note is that the second tropical wave has been given a 20% (low) chance of development into a tropical cyclone in the next two days and a 70% (high) chance of development in five days by the National Hurricane Center. This wave now has the classification of Invest 92L,”it said.
Earlier on Saturday the Met office discontinued the adverse weather alert, setting it to green level.
