By Newsroom

Acknowledging that ”there is a state of complacency that we have beat the virus”, Health Minister  Terrence Deyalsingh is warning that while by taking serious measures we have suppressed the virus, the “fires are still raging”. Nevertheless, there are no new cases of COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago, there’s only one person at the Couva Hospital (in the High Dependency Unit, HDU) and four at the home of football in Couva. All of the 524 community tests turned out to be negative.

In the meantime 20 health care workers who lived in with patents at the step d0own facilities are quarantined at the hotel facility at NAPA and 69 persons remain quarantined at the UWI-South Debe Campus.
