Shalini Ramsaroop, the New Grant mother accused of injecting her nine-month baby girl with insecticide, is due to appear before a Princes Town Magistrate this morning, charged with manslaughter.

The infant died on September 21st at the San Fernando General Hospital after being rushed in for treatment.

Ramsaroop was arrested n the same date and formally charged with the crime last Friday.
