The woman shot dead in her car at Coconut Drive, Palmiste, San Fernando on Tuesday morning has been identified as 41 year old Salina Mohammed.

The mother of two was on her way to work when she was approached by gunmen who shot her multiple times.

Investigators are still working to determine a motive for the killing and narrow down on finding a suspect.

Meanwhile, another murder was recorded in Enterprise, Chaguanas, shortly after noon on Tuesday. Investigators say the victim was ambushed while sitting in a gold Nissan Tiida vehicle.
