More Bad Weather May Come This Weekend, Met Office Warns
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service warns that there may be a repeat of torrential showers experienced on Monday, over this coming weekend.
The Met Office says its early analysis suggests that another rainfall event is likely to occur over the weekend, as a result of various features including a tropical wave and the ITCZ.
A gradual increase in periodic showers and thunderstorms is likely to start from Thursday afternoon and the peak of the event will possibly occur between Saturday and Sunday.
Periods of heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible and this activity may be significant enough to result in gusty winds and flooding. Changes can occur, so keep updated with our information as the week progresses.
