A woman identified as Alana Bella Mohammed was shot dead at her home in  Dass Trace Extension in Enterprise on Thursday morning.

Residents went to her home after hearing gunshots at about 6 30 am where they found Mohammed and her teenage daughter bleeding from gunshot wounds. 

Mohammed’s daughter- who was apparently shot in her stomach- survived the attack which was originally reported as a home invasion.
