A man who police say was referred to as “The Boss” of Phase One, Bon Air Gardens, was shot and killed in the area on  Tuesday afternoon.

The body of Daniel Fernandez was found lying on the roadway shortly after 3pm, with gunshot wounds to his back and head.

He is alleged to have been a leader of a reputed gang in the area.

Officers are continuing investigations.
