Government’s distribution of masks for citizens is still in the works and the thousands that have been distributed via the Foundation for the Enhancement and the Enrichment of Life (FEEL) were provided by the private sector. Already 6,000 masks have been distributed to Trinidad and a further 2,000 to Tobago.

 NIPDEC will this week evaluate the tenders for persons who applied for the government contracts to create masks after which the process will move forward, according to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh who gave the update in response to a question posed by the Opposition in the House of Representatives on Monday afternoon.
