The Ministry of Health provides the following update:

-Forty–nine (49) additional persons have tested positive for COVID-19.

The forty–nine (49) positive cases reported shows results from samples taken during the period September 3rd to September 12th, 2020. Therefore, this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours only. All established protocols
have been implemented.

-The Ministry of Health regrets to inform the public that there is an additional COVID-19 related death. The person is an elderly male with co-morbidities. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 54.

-Fifteen (15) persons have been discharged. COVID-19 Positive Patients in Hospital – (102) One thousand nine hundred and fifty nine (1959) patients have been home isolated under the continuous monitoring of the respective County Medical Officer Health (CMOH) offices.

Forty-nine (49) new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the CMOHs.
