Online Help for Stranded SEA Students

By Newsroom

The Ministry of Education has created platforms for the SEA, CSEC and CAPE content in light of the announcement that schools will remain closed until April 20th.  While the fate of the exam which is due on April 2nd remains up in the air, the Ministry of Education is making an attempt to created online content for the SEA students who are stranded at home.

“We will be creating and updating content daily and maybe hourly. At the point, it is mostly Maths and Language at the primary level but that will change soon because we intend to upload material for Standards One to Four as well,” Minister in the Ministry of Education Francis Lovell noted in a Facebook post.

“Fortunately we have 50 volunteer teachers who are writing and forwarding content and more will get involved. We are thankful for their efforts,” the Minister said.
