Pfizer Doses Administered To 12-18 Year Olds From Today

The Ministry of Health will begin administering Pfizer doses to persons aged 12-18 from today, at 14 vaccination sites across the country, with a walk-in service requiring no appointment.

Leading the charge are Education Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly and Junior Education Minister Lisa Morris-Julian, who will take their children to be vaccinated this morning.

Persons in this age group are eligible to receive a Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine, whether they are enrolled in school or not.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as advised by the Ministry of Education.

Parents/Guardians must walk with a form of Identification, the birth certificate of the child/ward and proof of relationship to child (guardians only)  

No appointment is necessary.  

The walk-in vaccination service will continue at the following sites,including weekends from 8:00am to 3:00pm:   

-Heliport, Chaguaramas 

-COSTAATT City Campus, St. POS 

National Academy for the Performing Arts ( NAPA) 

-COSTAATT Campus, El Dorado 

-Wallerfield International Raceway, Wallerfield Arima 

-Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima 

-Duranta Gardens Community Centre, Sangre Grande 

-L’anse Noire Community Centre, Toco 

-Divali Nagar, Uriah Butler Hwy, Endeavour (Starting Sunday 22nd August, 2021 from 11:00am – 6:00pm) 

-Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva 

-Pleasantville Technology Centre (MIC), San Fernando 

-Hansraj Sumairsingh Multipurpose Complex, Rio Claro 

-Mayaro Civic Centre 

-National Energy Skills Centre (NESC), La Brea
