By Newsroom

Banks are not to be closed by the Commissioner of Police, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley warned on Wednesday morning as he admitted the narrative between the Ministry of National Security and the top cop is “not synchronised.” Just a couple of hours earlier Commissioner Gary Griffith challenged the banks to manage the crowds outside the banks where people stand close together in lines. “Under the conditions there is a little difficulty in synchronising the text and you can trust it will be smoothed out,” the Prime Minister promised. “That arrangement of having them closed at the behest of the Commissioner of police is not what we want,” he told the news conference. “We will sort out the text,” he promised. ” The government’s overall situation is to persuade. “Do you need to be beaten with a bamboo rod to understand. We have given you a good reason to separate from people. “We may not be able to enforce the law against people who exercise, but people to use comonsense,” the Prime Minister said.
