PM Dr. Keith Rowley chairs the first national security meeting of the year

The first National Security Council meeting of 2020 was held today Wednesday 08 January at Whitehall. The Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley chaired the meeting. Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi, Minister of National Security Stuart Young, Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dennis Moses, Minister in the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Fitzgerald Hinds and Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ayanna Webster-Roy were all in the attendance.

Police Commissioner Gary Griffith, Chief of Defence Staff, Air Commodore Darryl Daniel and Acting Commissioner of Prisons, Dane Clarke reviewed 2019 and provided a synopsis of their plans for 2020 at the meeting.
