PM Rowley joins Caricom Mission to Guyana

 Less than 24 hours after Dr Keith Rowley returned to Trinidad from an official visit to Ghana, he will travel to Guyana today.

Dr Rowley was due to leave on a LIAT charter flight at Piarco which arrived from Barbados and will join CARICOM  Chairman Mia Mottley as well as the Prime Ministers of Grenada and Dominica.

The delegation is excepted to meet with ”all the main actors in the Guyanese election impasse”, according to a news release from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).

The Delegation will stay overnight and will depart Guyana on Thursday.

Minister of Finance the Hon. Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return.
