PM Rowley Reportedly Doing Well, Remains In Care Of Doctors

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley will spend a second night in hospital after being admitted to West Shore Private Hospital in Cocorite on Friday, however he is said to be doing well.

In an update on Saturday afternoon, the Office of the Prime Minister said Dr. Rowley was resting comfortably  under the care of his doctors and medical team.

It said the Prime Minister underwent an angiogram and a subsequent angioplasty which “went well”.

In accordance with normal medical procedure, the Prime Minister will be kept for further observation overnight.

News of Dr. Rowley being admitted to hospital were first confirmed around 6:30pm on Friday.

The Prime Minister had complained of experiencing some discomfort and decided to seek medical attention as a precautionary measure.

“We thank all well-wishers for their prayers and messages,” OPM stated in its release on Saturday, adding “We look forward to the Prime Minister being discharged and will continue to provide updates on his well-being.”
