The public can expect an early budget presentation this year. This was revealed by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley during a media conference on Monday.

The exact budget date, which is usually announced by the Minister of Finance, has not yet been revealed. 

National budgets in Trinidad & Tobago are usually presented during the first week of October, and are typically presented on a Monday. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Rowley said Finance Minister Colm Imbert is also expected to address the country on September 2nd, where he will provide a detailed outlook on the country’s financial standing.

This is separate from the actual budget presentation.
