Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has received his first negative Covid-19 test result since contracting the virus.

This was confirmed in a brief statement from the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday.

Dr. Rowley was first tested for the virus three weeks ago, on Easter Monday, after experiencing flu-like symptoms. 

He was subsequently re-tested the two Mondays following his positive diagnosis- both of which returned positive. 

Dr. Rowley has been in isolation at the official residence in Blenheim Tobago and has worked throughout his time in quarantine, both in his capacity as Prime Minister and Chair of CARICOM.
