A woman has been arrested by officers of the South Western Division Task Force (SWTF) during anti-crime exercises on April 7th, 2025.

According to the TTPS, a quantity of cannabis was also seized. Between the hours of 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm yesterday, officers of the SWTF, Point Fortin Criminal Investigations Department and K9 Unit conducted exercises in several areas in the district known for narcotic sales.

Officers proceeded to Millett Street, New Lands, Point Fortin where they arrested a 40-year-old female priority offender for the offence: Possession of Cannabis (463 grams). Investigations are ongoing.
