Police Find Marijuana Field In St.Ann’s

By Lillian Searles

During a police operation on Thursday afternoon by officers of the Port of Spain Division, led by Snr Sup Moore and Sup Ruben, a marijuana field with 70 trees and 40 seedlings was found in St Ann’s.

The officers received intelligence which led them to a bushy area off Ariapita Road where the drugs were catalogued and destroyed, but no one was arrested for the find.

The TTPS is reminding members of the public that the legal limit for marijuana possession, under current legislation, remains up to 30 grammes or four plants per person.
