Three men were arrested and an AR-15 rifle seized following a shooting in Longdenville on Sunday. 

According to reports, Central Division officers were contacted about a shooting in the Palmiste area.

Upon responding, they observed a Nissan Sedan car attempting to flee the scene. After a brief chase officers were able to intercept the vehicle. 

A search of the car revealed an AR15 assault rifle with seven live rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.

Upon going back to the scene of the incident, police spotted a white Nissan Tiida riddled with bullets.

Investigators also found and seized 14 spent shells at the scene.
