Police have seized ninety-five grams of Cannabis during exercises in Port of Spain yesterday, March 12th, 2025.

According to the TTPS, officers under the supervision of Sgt. Bethelmy conducted a drive-through exercise in the Port of Spain and the North Eastern Division. Special attention was paid to the following areas: Beetham, Sea Lots, Pump Trace, Eastern Quarry, Prizgar Lands, St. Paul Street, Pashley Street, 6th & 7th Avenue Malick, Vegas, and Pelican Extension.

At approximately 6:00 PM, the officers proceeded to the Morris Marshall Recreational Grounds, where a search of the pavilion was carried out. During the search, a black plastic bag containing several clear plastic packets of cannabis was discovered and seized. The packets were weighed and totaled 95 grams.
