Three cellular phones have been seized at the Port of Spain Prison and five firearms were seized by officers during ongoing anti-crime exercises conducted across multiple Divisions between yesterday and early this morning.

In the latest exercise, an Operation Grandslam exercise conducted in the North Eastern Division between 2 am and 6 am, on Thursday 16th February 2023, in the Morvant district, resulted in the seizure of one revolver loaded with one round of ammunition along with 13 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and a quantity of marijuana.
