Soca star Blaxx had to be rushed to hospital on Tuesday, days after undergoing serious surgery.

According to reports, the artiste, whose real name is Dexter Stewart, was rushed to Medical Associates in St Joseph, after experiencing difficulty breathing.

The news comes days after fellow artiste Dawg-e-Slaughter on Sunday made a public call for financial assistance on behalf of D’ All Starz frontman, to help pay his medical expenses.

Blaxx completed surgery recently and was said to be in recovery from a kidney infection.
