Prepping for Coronavirus

By Newsroom

There is more than enough N95 Masks in Trinidad and Tobago that will be distributed to health care workers in the event a case of the Coronavirus is detected in this country.

“They have been distributed at all the Regional Health Authorities (RHAs),” Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh told the Senate on Tuesday afternoon, in response to a question from the opposition.

“And we will order more,” he added.

The N95 masks are designed to prevent 95 per cent of small particles from entering the nose and mouth area. But they only work if they fit properly, and aren’t suitable for children or people with facial hair.
