SABOTAGE: Fyzabad Residents Relocated As Vandals Cut Oil Pipeline

By Newsroom

Touchstone Exploration is treating yesterday’s  oil spill in Fyzabad as an act of sabotage, as the company says preliminary investigations have revealed a six-inch transfer line on Primera Oil and Gas Limited’s Block  was cut.

Several families living along Gowers Well Road were forced to leave their homes last night after residents complained of feeling unwell because of the leak.

At least forty residents have been relocated.

Farmers have also reported losses of crops as the crude oil has spread to at least 10 acres of surrounding land.

Clean up operations are continuing at this time.
