San Juan Fire Station Closes After Fire Officer Tests COVID-19 Positive

By Newsroom

Operations at the San Juan Fire Station have been temporarily shut down, after a fire officer employed at the location was confirmed positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.

At least one dozen officers have also been put into self isolation as a result of the officer’s diagnosis.

The station will be thoroughly sanitized on Sunday, with plans to reopen thereafter.

Citizens who are served by the San Juan Fire Station are advised that in the interim, they can contact the  Santa Cruz fire station in the event of an emergency.
