Second Autopsy Report Suggests Andrea’s Cause Of Death

By Newsroom

A second autopsy on the body of Andrea Bharatt which took place today, suggests that the 22 year old court clerk suffered blunt force trauma to the head before she died.

Details of the report was shared by businessman Inshan Ishamael, who helped fund the autopsy on behalf of Bharrat’s family.

This after yesterday’s autopsy at the Forensic Science Centre came back inconclusive.

Mr. Ishmael said the autopsy was conducted by pathologist Professor Hubert Daisley at Boodoo’s Funeral Home in Cunupia.

In a statement on Tuesday, Police Commissioner Gary Griffith issued another statement rubbishing rumors that Bharatt’s internal organs had been removed, and said Monday’s autopsy report confirmed that the young woman’s organs were intact.

Meanwhile, the Police Complaints Authority has reportedly received video footage that will assist in their investigation into the deaths of two leading suspects in the kidnapping and murder of Andrea Bharatt.

Andrew Morris and Joel Balcon both died at hospital one week apart, after being detained by police last Sunday.

Balcon, who died yesterday, had been in the ICU at the Mt. Hope Hospital for several days after he was subdued by officers for allegedly attempting to escape custody.
