Second Man In Court For 2018 Murder Of Renowned Playwright

Nearly three years after the murder of renowned playwright Gregory Adam Singh, a second person has been charged with his murder.

Joshua Daniel St. George, 25, of Saddle Road, San Juan, is expected to appear virtually before an Arima Magistrate today.

Singh, a playwright and video producer, was found dead by relatives at his Mohan Avenue, Arouca, home on September 12th 2018.

An autopsy determined the cause of death as ligature strangulation.

St. George was arrested in Chaguanas by officers of the Central Division last Wednesday.

Investigations were supervised by ASP Lindon Douglas, of Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 2, while St. George was charged last Friday.

A 20-year-old Morvant man, Ricardo Randell Clarke, was charged with this murder on September 25th, 2018.
