A 35 year old security guard will appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate tomorrow, after being charged with possession of child pornography.

The accused, who is employed at the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, was arrested after officers conducted a search at his home in Penal on Monday, where they seized a large quantity of explicit pictures and videos featuring minors.

The suspect was detained by Cpl (Ag.) Baboolal of the Freeport Criminal Investigations Department (CID.

Further investigations subsequently led to the man being charged
with the offence.
