Sheraz Ali Appointed To Senate, Replaces Former Government Senator Franklin Khan
Sheraz Ali has been sworn in as a Senator on the government bench, replacing the late Franklin Khan, whose seat was declared vacant during Tuesday’s sitting of the upper House.
Former Senator Khan died on April 17th, after a long term battle with a heart disease.
In welcoming Mr. Ali to the Senate, the People’s National Movement issued a statement outlining the new Senator’s past achievements.
